I own this in Butternut, Drama, and Luxe. They are all very nice colors and look beautiful together. They dont crease as much as i expected them to and is definitely well worth the price. i would buy this again and again,

these shadows are the only ones i've tried that don't irritate my eyes and i have tried just about everything! they blend nicely using an eye shadow brush and the colors are buildable so you could use the same colors to go from natural to dramatic. i could see the color fading/rubbing off but i hate eye shadows that are hard to remove so i'm ok w/that

I absolutely loooove this eyeshadow. I use the drama color for going out at night and pretty 'n pink for the daytime. I love it! i definitely would love to try more colors. I am waiting for my next order to arrive which has more colors! :)I would definitely recommend this product although the applicator is not the best to apply it. I use my own eyeshadow brush. Great quality, low cost, definitely an essential in my makeup kit!

I use the Drama. The colors stay on well and the black comes out very black (unlike a lot of other brands) and gives a good smokey look when combined with the dark grey. after a night out, i do notice a tiny bit of creasing but not noticeable

i got Ivy and I wasnt a big fan of the colors. I wouldnt say there is anything wrong with the product, that compact just didn't thrill me. I like the duo colors much more!

I use so many of these color sets everyday. I love that I can choose colors to suit my moods. Getting 4 colors [$] couldn't be better value for money, especially when the product is so good. The powder is soft and smooth when applied and lasts all day. It doesn't crease or smudge, even when you get hot.

i love the colors!! I was so excited when i received my eyeshadow the colors looked so good.

Love this eyeshadow. You dont need very much to get the effect you want. A little amount goes a long way and I love the colors. I apply it with the eyeshadow brush,not the applicator it came with.

These are nice for softer looks but the colors are not bold.

I really like the Pretty n Pink colors. This works really well with any sort of primer. If you're familiar with the All Over Color Stick, it works really well with this eye shadow! Definitely worth the money because it comes in 4 alike shades. Nice for blending.

I ordered several different ones and have been using them for the past 3 months. The colors blend well together. I use a eyeshadow primer so the colors stay, but after a bit of profuse sweating I do notice some minor creasing. It's not enough to keep me from using it or from ordering it again though!

The Butternut is a really great buy. For the money it is wonderful. It has a bit of a shimmer and goes on very well. It also blends well. A good buy for [$]

I got this in Butternut. The shadow goes on smooth and easy. When you first dip into the color with the brush, the eye shadow powder does get really loose. But there's lots of pigment and color when you put it on. The color looks great on asians and gives that look that you can wear everyday and looks very fresh and natural. Altogether a nice buy!

the colors are bright, almost too bright. The compact is extremely small and you can only use each color a few times before its empty. Doesnt stay on long, but it's okay for the price.

There was a previous review that complained that this eyeshadow had glitter, it's true! I didn't expect it to have all this glitter. I bought Nouveau Naturals and, other than the dark brown, all the colours had glitter. There's not much pigment in these shadows, too.

i love this eyeshadow. it blends easily. if you think it fades try using the duo cream shadow as a base. i reccomend the light color from mocha swirl. i have the quad in the neutral one. and i LOVE all of the colors.

I loved this eyeshadow. The colors are really pretty, and the price is even better. By the end of the day the colors do fade a little, but they are not completely gone. The eyeshadows are easy to put in your purse, so you can easily reapply during the day (It has a little mirrior underneath the brush).

I love this!! It is so easy to use even if i have to apply it with my finger. I love how i get all 4 colors in one case so that i don't have to carry around a bunch of different products. And at the price no one can complain.

I love this eye shadow...I have the kit in Butternut and I use it daily. I am not an expert make-up user by any means but I love all four colors in the compact.

I loved all the products I ordered. I am a busy mom, with no time to reapply make-up. This product made it not a problem for me.

good value

I have every color combo offered and I love them. I use the colors individually and I don't try to blend more than one. I just put it on my eyelid only. It adds just the right hint of color and drama without looking overdone and drag-queenish.

I love the way this goes on, not too heavy but not too light. The colors are great, just wish that it lasted longer.

I love these eye shadows! The colors are awesome and have just the right amount of shimmer to them. They are easy to apply and blend well. However, if you don't use some kind of primer, they tend to fade and smudge.

These eye shadows were great. They had many great qualities!

the great qualities:
1. I love all the colors! I bought ivy, blue moon, silver lining, & pretty n' pink.

2. Goes on well! To put them on I use the e.l.f. eye shadow brush, which I bought seperately. (I like the eye shadow brush because it spreads very well.) The eyeshadows did come with the usual two-sided brush so if you like those you don't have to buy the eye shadow brush.

3. Has a little mirror below where the brush sits. The little mirror is really cute and if I forget my mirror it comes in handy. Its not very big but you can still see your eyes through it.

4. Stays on all day. With the eye shadows I use the hydro tint spf 15. I put the hydro tint where ever I'm putting on the eye shadows and then spread the eye shadow on top. The eye shadow then stays on all day.

5. The eye shadows and the hydro tint spf 15 come off easily with makeup remover or baby wipes (which I use to take off my makeup) but it doesn't wear off during the day.

I would definitely say to buy these but don't forget the hydro tint spf 15 so it stays on all day! :)

I looove this product! You can apply the colours lightly or make them more bold without having to apply tons of layers. The colours blend nicely together. I havent had any creasing and the colours last right until I wash them off. My eyes don't feel heavy or gross, it doesn't feel like I'm wearing eye makeup at all!!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE E.L.F'S EYESHADOW!!! I have this product in "Butternut". It goes on soo smooth & I was AMAZED at the intesity of it's pigments. Very very similar to a department store brand but waaay cheaper. I Love it & im going to order soo much more!

I like it and i use it. but if u dont have a base on first i.e. duo eye shadow cream. it will just fall right off onto your lashes and your cheeks. but they have so many colors for so cheap. the price is great, the colors are great, but it just doesnt stay on as long as i would like. but i still love it!

For the price, this is pretty good. My only complaint is that is does not last all day! By the time I get home from work my eye makeup has totally faded...oh well. If you have time to spend touching up your makeup all day go for it.

Lovely colors, perfect size and it blends beautifully. If only I didn't have sensitive eyes that water up every time I wear powder eye shadow, I could wear it more often!

the eyes shadows are good quality, but they can easly get to powdery and not very pigmented. Overall a great value.

I received my shipment, and everything was very simple and unassuming, so I was afraid I'd be disappointed. But every product I have used is amazing! I put on a whole face of ELF products and I'm at work not. I have been for 5 hours and everything is as impecable as it was when I put it on this morning. I have gotten TONS of compliments too!

This eyeshadow is pretty good, only complaint is that it fades very quickly. There's none left on my eyes when the day is over!

I still like it though!

I liked this because it is light, powdery, and easy to blend. However, along with this it is a bit easy to smudge & wear off. Probably good for someone with oily skin to use.

I got Ivy. I loved the colors! The pink is a lot darker than pictured I use it in my crease ya its that dark. I use an eye primer and they stay all day. I'm sure they would without primer too.

SO...I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS MAKE-UP A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO AND I'M HOOKED! I LOVE THE COLORS, THE QUALITY..EVERYTHING. THESE WORK ESPECIALLY WELL WITH THE DUO CREAM SHADOWS AS A BASE FOR THE POWDER EYE SHADOW. I CAN'T RAVE ABOUT THIS ENOUGH. ABSOLUTELY A KEEPER!

These eye shadows are okay, but they are so soft unlike a normal pressed eye shadow. I apply with the smudge eye sponge. I have the butternut and I just bought drama and haven't tried drama yet. I recommend butternut to green eyed gals.

Colors are intense and harsh and not so subtle as they appear online. Their intensity makes them difficult to apply evenly. Throw out the ratty little applicators; they make application even more problematic. Use a high quality natural bristle brush instead.

I was using a lot of expensive brands (Loreal HIP, MAC (too expensive), and others) and not only is this easier to apply and easy to blend but I can't believe it lasts so long. I have a hard time finding shadows that stay put but I did a whole dramatic eye today and it looks exactly the same as when I first did it. Which is crazy because it was soooooo humid outside and sprinkling. So if it can last in crazy weather than to me this eyeshadow rocks. :o)

Great for the price. Its not the best eye makeup I've used but its a really good value and I plan to buy more colors. I bought Nouveau Neutrals and the colors weren't exactly as shown, but I still liked them.

I brought these eyeshadows out of curiosity and i have to say, im impressed! the colors look great on and last a really long time. my mom who has incredibly sensative eyes used them as well and they didnt irritate at all. elf is now one of the few brands she can use, and with these great prices, im pretty sure she'll be using them quite often! so if anyones curious, go for it! you'll love them!

I think the colors in my neutrals are slightly different than what is shown. That being said, this is a nice, easy to apply shadow for a natural summer look.

I have three or four sets of the eyeshadows. I love all of them, but I have one favorite. Luxe is one of the best eyeshadows I've ever used. It has great color, not too light. It's awesome.

I've used the pretty in pink compact and the noveau neutrals and they haven't been too impressive. They stay fairly well, but fade by the end of the day. I wish there was more color choice. They aren't the best eyeshadows, but I would probably buy them again.

but my mom and sister have like 2 or 3 other ones and i like the butternut the best!

It's a little hard to write one review which will encompass every shade, but oh well.

The shadows are all rather nice in texture. They are creamy and apply well (assuming you have a good applicator; the one supplied is a little small). They come in oodles of colours.

However, the main (and quite major) flaw for me is that only a few of the colours - the individual colours, not the pallettes - are actually matte. The others are all shiny and shimmery, which is great for a night out or something, but not so good for an office job. The only completely matte pallettes are Matte Mauve and Pretty n Pink. That's two out of nine that are wearable during the day. Every single other colour, apart from the two brown shades in "Luxe", is shiny and shimmery.

So one star knocked off for that, and another because the quads are absolutely tiny. I actually have trouble getting eyeshadow on the applicator because they're so small. I wish ELF would offer these colours in larger amounts, in pairs or something.

i love this eyeshadow. there shades are so vibrant but they do fades so i recommend using a good base on this. i use the eyeshadow brush to apply and it is so vibrant but the eysahdow are so small but oh well i love this stuff !

I liked the powder shadow better than the cream. Has much better staying power. I got the Butternut. Very much liked the colors as well. I would probably buy this product again.

I tried this eyeshadow on my first order from E.L.F. just to try it out. Hey, it's a dollar, what do I have to loose, right?

I'm one of those women with very difficult skin to work with. No eye makeup ever seems to stay on for more than an hour. That being said, this eyeshadow works great for me. It works as well as if not better than much more expensive eye shadows I have used. It didn't crease (especially when I used a cream eyeshadow as a base). It stayed on all day. The colors worked awesome together and were neither too strong nor too light. They layer nicely and blend easily. I really love this eyeshadow and I have already ordered some other shades of it.

This is a definite win.

Though I ususally favor more expensive department store makeup lines (I believe you get what you pay for) this eyeshadow is pretty good for so little money! The colors are light applied dry but bold applied wet and last a long time without fading or smudging too much, and for an eye rubber like me, I test the smudge factor all day long. Great for work or play.

I LOVE this product. I got three different packs, and I love each one of them! I love that they have a mirror where the brush sits! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!

I am an eye shadow junkie. I love experimenting with it so the more the merrier. e.l.f. shadow is easy to apply and goes on smooth. The colors were vibrant and so far are staying on well without creasing.

PROS: It's very easy to remove and to apply. It's good quality for it's price.

CONS: It creases and smudges after a couple of hours. The colours are too light for my liking.

I have this product in "Drama" and "Silver Lining."

I don't mind this eye shadow. It goes on easy and the color stays for most of the day. I have the Pretty N' Pink and the color is faint enough on my fair skin. It is a great everyday color

I really enjoy these eyeshadows. I have them in Drama and Silver lining. I want Butternut but they are currently out of stock :( Anyway the colors are amazing. Beautiful. The eyeshadow does not crease on me, it's very smooth. I only use the sponge provided when applying to the eyelid. I use my ring finger to apply at the crease. It blends better that way. The only cheap thing about this would be the sponge applicator. This eyeshadow lasts all day long on me. If I put it on at 7:30 a.m. It will still be there by the time I wash my face ( 9-11 p.m.) It'll be a little faded. But the true color stays on for like 11 hours or so. I will continue buying these eyeshadows.

I love the eyeshadow colors! I love that each eyeshadow compact comes with 4 colors since I usually wear several shades together. I'm a contact lens wearer and am picky about my eye make-up. These shadows are up to my strict standards! My only wish is that each color section in the compact was a little larger. I'd be willing to buy 4 different compacts to get each color in a larger portion. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied!

I like the product, especially for [$] you can't beat that kind of value! I like that it's compact but I guess I was expecting it to be a bit bigger/more product. Colors are paired nicely and are good for daily use or for a more dramatic look. I will re-order this product....

I found that if you use the all over color stick
in lilac petal as a base it works incredible and you don't need to use as much to get the vibrant colors, the lilac petal works with all of the colors as it is so pale, it is gorgeous by itself as well, but you can use any of the colors of the all over color stick as a base i like to use toasted with the butternut and nouve neutrals and the pink lemonade works wonderful with the pretty in pink, just rub a little onto ur entire eye are then go ahead and put the eyeshadow on as you normally would, works wonders!!

I have used ($$$) brands of make-up but this one is really good noramly cheaper eye shadow does not have bright pigments and you have to use all of it in one day just to see it.

I got the "Pretty n' Pink" set and it's wonderful!
This is probably the first eye-shadow set ever that I have been using all the colours in, and the great part is that there is plenty of that "middle" pink that usually runs out (since its the one used the most).

The compact is a great size too - small and fits anywhere. Only downside is that there's no mirror, so I always have to have another compact or travel mirror on hand when I apply it... but many other brands do this as well, so I've learned to live with it.

I'm waiting for ELF to add more colours - the brighter the better - and start pairing them outside the colour sets. Aquas with golds, oranges, silvers with reds and yellows... A world of opportunities with this product!

Just got this product in 'Silver Lining' and although the colors are a bit darker than the picture online, I love this eyeshadow set! The package is a bit small but c'mon - it's only a dollar! The colors are great and they add some sparkle to my eyes. They do not fade, either. I've included a picture to show how I used this eyeshadow set. I also used the brightening eye color pencil in Plum (read my review on that product).

The color (noveau neutrals) didn't look very natural on me and faded/creased soon after I applied it. Also, it was too sparkly for me. It seems cheap.

This is a good product and is very inexpensive (which is a plus). Good selection of colors too!
