It does give a lovely glossy finish, and is true to color. More sticky than watery, but still not as sticky as some other glosses. Maybe I'm weird but I like the smell! Great value product =)

No color pay off! it taste, and smells horrible!
The only color I reconmend is Fairy because of the sparkles and because it is suppose to be clear!!!!!!!!!

This is an awesome product. It lives up to all the promises. I ordered the Honey color and it looks very natural and adds just the right amount of shine/shimmer. I really like the applicator, but you do have to twist it a TON to get the product to come out.

Just got this gloss in Flirt, and so far I like it. Not too sticky, but you definitely won't forget it's on your mouth. Taste is ok, and you can't beat this price.
i loooooove this lipgloss!!! it is by far the best that i've ever purchased. it is not too sticky and it doesn't leave that nasty film on the inside corners of my lips!! it also has a very fine glitter not a chunky one. also the color is very natural, my lips don't have much of a color to them and when i wear tinted lip gloss it never looks right. sometimes i forget that the tint on this gloss isn't the way my lips should naturally look!!! it's great:)

I bought this at a [...]after ordering a lot of other products off the elf website(which i havent received yet). I love the color blossom, its light and goes on very smooth! It doesnt taste like much, but i like it that way. The only bad thing wasit wore off fast, and how small the container is, i need to go back and buy some more!
I really like this. It is great shine, true to its color, and stays on for a long time. The only bad things is that you will probably have to even it out with your finger if you don't have a mirror. I have a mirror and still use my finger, just to make sure it is not uneven. And if the wind is high on a certain day,your hair might stick to it. Not for windy days! But overall, this is my favorite thing I have off this website. Happy Shopping!

I use this lipgloss daily. Just turn the product up to the brush, and viola! I can even put it on without using a mirror. It gives me a natural look with just a hint of color/gloss vs. a bold "lipstick" look. It's also convenient to keep in my pursse. It gets a little sticky after it has been on a while but what lip gloss doesn't. My solution, wipe it off, reapply and keep it moving. Love it!
I like the packaging, i love lip gloss that comes with a brush, it seems more professional, but the taste is terrible, almost so that i don't want to use it, i just put it on after i will be eating anything for a while, so that I won't taste it... :P
For all you people with earlier reviews, who didn't like the taste/smell, DON'T WORRY. They changed it. Now instead of tasting and smelling like melted plastic, it tastes/smells like hawaiian punch. YUM. And it's still super glossy. I LOVE this product, and I will buy more! I recommend Flirt or Blossom if you're pale, like me. It gives a nice lip stain with super glossiness. (Is that a word?)
This product is great. I was referred to the site by a friend. I love glosses, so that was the first thing I went to. I only ordered one of these in Honey to see what it would be like. I instantly fell in love with it! It provides a good even coverage. Lips are glossy and not sticky and the smell and taste are not overpowering. I have already ordered 2 more, b.c I'm half way thru this tube.

This is great gloss! The container is convenient and i love the brush tip! The shine and color are perfect and it is not too sparkly. Perfect to carry around in your purse. The smell is great. However, the formula is a little sticky.
i think thisgloss is awsome i have it in like 3 colors.i love that it's not to sticky & has beautiful colors to choose from :)over all i am exreamly happy with this product.the best part there no animal testing or harsh irritating chemicals.

I love this gloss in blossom! When I discovered this color was carried at the "PAY-HALF" next door to me, I was thrilled. I stock up just about every month. The only con is that i usually run out of the tube once every 10 days! I'd love to be able to buy a tube with more gloss in it!

I actually got this free with an order, not sure I would buy it. I got Fairy, which is a nice light coloured gloss.
Pros: Smells nice, lips feel soft
Cons: A little sticky, doesn't last long, and the big one - it tastes ABSOLUTELY FOUL. Seriously, it tastes so bad my boyfriend refuses to kiss me if I'm wearing it. I have to make an effort not to let my tongue touch my lips. Most lipgloss tastes a little off, but this is truly disgusting.

When they say "hyper-shine", they ain't kidding! I got the hypershine gloss in Fairy, and it's great as a top coat for other color, or just plain to make your lips extremely shiney. wowza! It is sticky, and the portion size is small. But I had no problems with either smell or taste, and the look was fabulous!

For the price, this is a great deal. The con is the taste - I love the song Escape (Pina Colada song) but I don't like the flavor of Pina Colada - this tastes like Suntan oil. I gave it to one of my friends. Please make a line that has no taste or smell!!!
I bought this in Flirt and was very pleasantly surprised with how well I liked it. It reminds me of a very popular name brand's lip gloss (beginning with the letter "S"). The packaging is nearly identical to this brand, formula is similar, except you are paying nearly 20 times more for that other brand! The only complaint I have is it is the formula is a tad bit sticky and flavor is a little "plastic-y". I really liked the color of this lipgloss and it does seem to last longer than other lipglosses I have used. Overall, great product for the money!!!

I bought this in Vixen and i really liked it. It came out as a nice watermelon-pink and it really complimented my green eyes. PLus it tasted really good :). My only complaint is that even though it looks nicely glossy, it is somewhat sticky and tends to come off on cups, napkins etc. Otherwise, i really like this product and i plan on buying it again!
I brought this product in the Vixen Cotton Candy and it was very true to color. I had to dull the color out with a darker brown color to get just the right shade for me. It goes on easily and smoothly and lasts all day or night. The only problem I had with it was that it was sticky and the color was too bright. But again, this can be fixed.

This product is ok, not great. I expected the amount of actual gloss in the tube to be more than was it there. You can easily use half the tube up in a couple of days. However, it was only a dollar so for a dollar, its ok. I would rather spend a couple of dollars more in the drug store and know that it will last more than a couple of weeks.

I got it in blossom. It got no smell/taste at all which is a good thing but there very little of the stuff in that tube. only a miserable 0.063 fl. oz (1.8ml)

This product quality varies A LOT. The first time I ordered it, I ordered Flirt and Vixen. I used the Flirt first and LOVED IT. It smelled really good. It felt great going on. It lasted a long time. I told all my friends how great ELF products were. I liked it so much I used it up before the week was out. I then used Vixen. It still felt good on. But...it smelled like moldy plastic. I ordered the 8 pack hoping they would all be as awesome as Flirt had been. When they arrived I tried each one. They all smell like plastic...even Flirt.My boyfriend complains when I use them. He doesn't like the taste. I tell him, "But hun, they're only [$]!" He then replies, "Well, maybe you should keep buying the slightly more expensive stuff."I now avoid putting it on when he is around.My advise -- Go ahead and order it. You may get a good smelling batch...but, be prepared, you may get a moldy and/or plastic-y smelling batch. Good luck. If you get a good batch, its GREAT!
When i put it on, it looked amazeing.but after about 10 min.i had this grose taste! it tasted like child-ish make up.you know the kind that has the princess dolls and the hannah montana.
i would recommend it, but only for the price.not for being used

i love bright reds on my lips. so vixen was the color i was after. when i first used it, [on bare lips], the shine was good, not greasy or watery, but color was faint; so the next day i tried it over one of my red lip palettes and it looked great and lasted long. so i recommend using it as a finisher.
I have been having problems with chapped lips and corners of my mouth even cracking! I had tried everything I have at home, then remembered the hypershine. It goes on gently, the sponge is great! And it's not thick and gooey like so many lip glosses I use. I am now going to order several more and toss some of the gooey (and expensive!) stuff I have been holding on to.
It smells really nice, and the gloss isn't bad, although it's difficult to get a smooth application. When you put on the gloss, there isn't much color; its very sheer and pretty for a subtle look. However, the glosses are not true to color at all!
Nice product. Glides on easily with a click that transfers the product to a soft nylon bristle applicator. It is shiny, like described, and has a nice scent/light flavor. Sticky? It's a gloss but no sticker than any other shiny gloss. It has a sheer color (Vixen) that's a soft pink/red. Well worth the dollar. I don't have one complaint on this product.

I really love this Lip gloss. I got blossom and flirt, and they're both great! The gloss feels a little thick, but I can live with that. It doesn't taste bad, and the color really looks great.
The only con I have is the applicator. The bristles keep falling off on my lips. But for only 1 dollar, its a great product!

I got the colors Cloud Nine and fairy. Cloud nine is a clear gloss that smells great and Fairy has a hint of shimmery pink in it. The colors are pretty true as the website displays them except fairy looks like it has an orangy tint to it when it really doesn't. The applicator tip makes it a bit difficult to apply, but if you can work past that, it comes in some really nice colors and is very pretty :) Overall really great for the price.

After applying for a while, the gloss becomes sticky and tastes like petroleum jelly. After it wears off, it leaves my lips feeling dry and unhealthy.

I bought color glosses and did not like them. The color does not blend in. You can see little lines on your lips of the color. I only use the clear and threw out the others.
I've been reading comments that say the gloss is sticky---for gloss to stay on, it needs to be sticky or else it wear off even faster than it already does. If you look at popular lip glosses, especially the ones from MAC, those are VERY sticky, not to mention much more expensive. These are great to keep in your purse, car, office, etc. There may not be a lot in there but when the other guys are asking for [$] for almost the same thing, you know you're getting a deal
For the price, this stuff works pretty well! It's not very sticky and lasts a bit longer than other more expensive brands that I have used. I was worried that Flirt would be too dark, but it's perfectly sheer and just the right shade for a little something more than clear.
My lips seem to peel very badly, so don't put this on if your lips peel or are really chapped. I put it on, and it just kind of made the skin just roll. blah. But when my lips aren't peeling from the tanning bed, it's a nice lip gloss. I love it!
I think that this is great for a dollar...even if it was 10 bux id still buy it. the only con is that i go thru this like water. (since i like to reapply gloss all the time) but i love this stuff! especially vixen!

I bought this gloss in Fairy hoping I'd like it as much as the Super Glossy Lip Shine but I was very disappointed. To begin with, the smell is horrible and very strong. I hoped I'd stop noticing it after a while but I could smell it the entire time I had it on. The applicator is also a pain to use. The color was nice and it was a little bit shinier than the other gloss but those are about the only good things about it. I definitely recommend the other gloss instead.

I like these glosses because they have a reat shine, but not too much color. I go to college all day and some of my other glosses have way too much color. Not waht you want in a classroom.

The color fairy shown on the website is a soft, neutral beige natural color. What you actually get is very different, though pretty. It looks like a cross between the swatches shown of joy and sugar plum.
Fairy is a pearlescent, semi-sheer mid tone pink with opalescent blue and gren undertones. It doesn't look blue or green on the lips though. It's a lovely color, great over lipsticks. But it's not the color shown.

I love the brush that is used to apply this product. However, its a very thick product and there is very little stuff in that skinny tube! To get the product out, you have to twist the tube many many clicks, and then it seems to come out WAAAAAY too much. It won't last long if you apply it regularly. Thankfully, its only [$].

I bought the hypershine lip gloss in the Flirt shade and I really like this lip gloss a lot. It is really true to its color and it makes my lips so lucious and shiny just how I like it. However, my only con is that the gloss is really sticky. I hope E.L.F. re-formulates the hypershine gloss so it won't be sticky anymore. Other than the stickyness, this is a great gloss if you want that really shiny look on your lips. I would definetley re-purchase

I really love these lipglosses. They're better than anything I've ever tried and for only [$] you will get more than your money's worth. They're not too sticky, last long, and smell great! You should definitely stock up!

I love that this product is thicker than a lot of other glosses I have tried. To me, it seems to last longer and they are pretty true to color. I bought a gift case for myself and I'm glad I have more than one color to treat myself to! I don't know why people complain about the taste/smell because it is very faint and doesn't taste/smell like plain ol' makeup!

I bought 2 gift packs, one for me and one for my best friend. She loved it, Loves how it's really glossy! I think it's pretty good. I thought the taste was alright but it's not like I'm eating it so whats it really matter. It doesn't last super long but it does the trick, and it's really shiney.

I love them all from the sheerest to the most tinted and shimmered. They last a long time for me and the moisture is outrageous. I love this better than my regular chapstick or fave lip balm. Yeah, it's like that.....
I really like this product but the smell and taste is AWFUL its like you sprayed perfume in your mouth.
its verry sheer and the site doesnt display the shimmer when you zoom in. its my fave gloss of the elf line and i'll purchse about 4 other colors as well.

VIXEN Flavour. I would not buy this again. The taste is tolerable but it lessens my appetite due to the artificial taste and smell. It might be good if your trying to lose weight. It's not too bad but you know it smells and taste very artificial, a bit chemically. It would smell good though for a candy perfume but you don't eat candy perfume. The price is cheap compared to better tasting lip glosses, you get what you paid for. [...]

The top layer of smell is sweet, but there's another underlying smell that isn't quite right..
I bought Berry, which I thought to be a iridescent, reflective light purple. Instead it looks more like a grape. Seems unwearable, so I haven't opened it.
As a gift, elf gave me a mini cell phone charm, which contains the same hypershine lipgloss formula. Flirt is true to colour, while Fairy is not clear as pictured, but has a gorgeous iridescent pearly look!
This lipgloss smells like coconut! This lipgloss is nice for occasional usage, I would not use this product daily. It is ideal when you just want a subtle flirty colour on your lips. I was unsure about the lipgloss colour at first because I thought it would be too loud and abrasive but I was pleasantly surprised to find it sheer with just a touch of pink. I got the shade in Blossom and it's a nice subtle pink shade with lots of shine. It's very smooth, but what turned me off was the fact that it tasted like really bad medicine! I was hoping that the taste would be like the cotton candy scent.
This is awesome! I got it in Flirt and I love it. I like the smell and the brush. I also like how long it lasts. I'll totally buy it again.

What can I say about Blossom? It came out on me very light. The colour was lighter than Baby Lips Luscious Liquid Lipstick and the Candy Shop Lip Tins in Candy Fix. It was like putting Vaseline Petroleum Jelly on my lips with a HINT of colour. But, its a wonderful moisturizer for dry lips. I've read others reviews regarding t
