I ordered this product in Caramel Candy. At first, I loved it. It went perfectly with my light skin tone; but after a couple of weeks, I noticed that it was starting to smell really bad. Another week and I couldn't even stand to take off the cap and had to chuck it in the trash. Bottom line: don't buy this product unless you plan to use it within a week or so.
This is my favorite lipgloss of the elf products.
So, why did I not give it more than 3 stars?
Here's a lsit of what I liked and didn't about this product:
-true to color, it looks like what it does in the website's picture
-I like the applicator, it's fuzzy and looks kind of funny, but it works!
-not moisturizing, my lips actually felt a bit dryer then when I had put it on
-does not last long, maybe 30minutes to an hour
-there is not a lot in the tube,
Overall I like this, worth the dollar, but I think I will be sticking to my other non-elf lipgloss for now
i really like the aplicator of it. not many other lip stick/lip glosses are like that. its very convinient. and it's moisturizing, wich is always a plus.
I love this lipgloss above all others.
Love everything about this product! It's like 3-in-1! Really moisturizes my lips much better than some lipbalms out there. Color is also just right, not too sheer or thick. Goes on smooth and isn't sticky at all. Easy application.
It lasts just as long as any lip tint/balm would, and the minty feeling is nice. Finishes fast, but I don't mind coz it's great! I'm buying 5 at a go next time! Don't ever stop selling this product ELF!

It's good, but not great. It's the same as every other applicator of its kind.
The one major difference is that it lasts a long time, which is great.

I got this in Baby Lips, Pink Lemonde, and Bark. This stuff feels great on the lips and the smell is nice.
I wouldn't call it a liquid lipstick though, they aren't very pigmented.
I love this stuff! I have it in Baby Lips, Caramel Candy and Mauve Berry. I've spent years trying to find good colors for my lips, and these give just the right amount of color in good shades for my skin tone. If you're looking for really strong color, these aren't for you. For those of you complaining that they dont show up, try dabbing some concealer on your lips before applying these, and they are very true to color and look fabulous!
Okay so this gloss is so amazing, it is super shiny and glossy, it has a nice minty smell, the color is BEAUTIFUL!! I got Pink Lemonade, and its a tad bit darker than in the picture, but I am so happy with it. Oh and it isn't sticky at all, and it last for a good amount of time. I'm definitely buying more!

This was okay. I didn't really like the color (I think it was cherry tart) because it was too bright on me - I have medium olive skin. I wouldn't really call this a "lipstick" either, because the color isn't rich enough or intense - just a drier form of lip tint or lip gloss. It didn't feel very hydrating either. If I'm in a pinch I'll use it, but it's definitely not my go-to lip product.
I love this product! It's more of a gloss though, not a lipstick. I don't understand why my tube says moisture care lip color. When I sarched on their website it says luscious liquid lipstick... but whatever. It's a great product. I got Pink Lemonade and it looks great on me ( I have fair skin.) It smells really minty and when you put it on it kind of gives your lips a tingle( in a good way!) I highly recommend.
Like other reviewers have said it's more of a gloss than a regular lipstick but that being said it comes in great colors and I don't feel like it is too dramatic for everyday wear.The color really does show up nicely and it feels great on your lips and I love the scent.

Loving the color! It's iridescent but shows up with more color as it keeps on being applied, loving it!
I love this stuff. The applicator is one of the twist-up/click-up kinds with the velvety top so it feels really really nice to put on. Like everyone says, there's not that much of it and it wears off EXTREMELY fast. I just think of it as an incredibly awesome lip balm, because that never lasts, either, and I don't gripe about having to put it on all the time. I had the baby lips, and it made my lips look SO natural and soft and shiny. You would never know it was not my own lips with a clear gloss (medium shine) on top, but my own lips are DEFINITELY not that pretty of a color or texture on their own. I have light-colored lips and this was sheer enough to not add very much color, (although I knew that shade would be sheer) so I don't know how it would do on darker lips, but it still feels really nice. If I am wearing gloss, I almost always go for the super-glossy vinyl look, and this is the perfect product for when I want to look more natural but still have all my makeup on, like on a boat or something.
I loved the Baby Lips colour and the applicator was great. There isn't much in the tube and it doesn't have staying power so I used it up pretty quickly. I just ordered 5 more in the same colour so that I can keep them in my purse, the office, the car and at home. overall a great product for the price!

This is very nice stuff. Although it looks a bit like lipgloss it doesn't feel like gloss; it's non-sticky and does feel very moisturising. It's more like wearing Vaseline lip balm with colour in it than wearing lipstick or lipgloss.
I have Baby Lips and Ruby Slipper. Baby Lips is a lovely, better-than-natural light pink. Ruby Slipper is a slightly darker red, not "vampy" like real red lipstick but nice for the evening.

E.L.F liquid lipstick is great! It looks pretty, is long-lasting, and smells great. I have it in baby lips. You can use everyday or for special occasions.
My mother got me this in Cherry Tart, but it is more of a red than the light maroon that is show on the internet. I have short blonde hair and blue eyes and it looks very nice on me.

This is more of a lip gloss than a liquid lipstick. I got the Pink Lemonade '06, and the color is GREAT! It is so moisturizing, I love it! You do have to carry it with you to reapply often, but it feels so nice. The color is very subtle, perfect for everyday use!
Love the smoothness of the product verses regular hard lipstick tubes...will continue to buy. The only con is that it doesnt last a long time but what does?

I used to wear very dark lip stick everyday and I never really liked lip gloss or anything like it because it was always hard to put on and very sticky. But not this stuff it, I love it and wear it everyday. My hubby even loves the vanilla mint smell! A MUST HAVE!!
I love how this gloss makes my lips really luscious with the therapeutic conditioning balm applied first! It's really good!
I got mine from drugstore.com in natural blush, which i can't find here. The tube says 'Moisture Lip Colour' instead of 'Luscious Liquid Lipstick'. I use it alone, or over regular salve. It's rather sticky worn alone, but it means that it's staying power is better. It's actually quite moisturising. The colour actually isn't true to what is shown on the tube but it doesn''t matter, cuz at this price, you could get 1 in every colour!

I LOVE the liquid lipstick. I got the cherry tart and it is so pretty. It doesn't taste bad...but it doesn't taste good. But I like how it's liquid and I can modify how dark the color is or mix with another. I am definitely going to try the other colors.

I like this lip color a lot. I have very dry lips, and this doesn't bother them. I just wish it did not wear off so fast!

I got this lip color in pink lemonade and absolutely love it. The color is PERFECT for someone with light skin who still wants a bit of a pop. If you are used to thick, heavy lipsticks, this may not be the thing for you, as this is almost more of a lip gloss than lipstick. However, if you are used to lip gloss, this is a very easy step up to a bit more color. The lip color lasts and has a great minty smell. I have already purchased more and will continue to buy this product!
Wow, I would consider myself anti-lipstick for a million reasons and haven't worn any in years. I prefer lipgloss and a natural colored mouth. With that being said, I bought this lipstick in BABY LIPS and I absolutely love it. The color is very light on my fair skin and mouth, so I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a deep shade but, it is perfect for me. My lips look smooth and kissable plus they don't get dry or flaky. This lipstick is a little more like a lip gloss than a traditional thick from the tube lipstick but does offer some color and coverage. It is perfect for women who do not like lipstick but want a little color on their lips. I top it with a shiny gloss for some pucker power and it knocks my husband right out!!! I keep a tube everywhere that I could possibly need it to touch up.

Colors are beautiful when applied but doesn't last.
I got the colors Baby lips and ruby slipper. Ruby Slipper is kind of a ruby color, hence the name. And Baby lips is a soft pink. I didn't like baby lips that much because the color is really light and my lips are a rosy color so it didn't show up very well. That's just me though. If you have pale lips, it should be perfect for you. It leaves just a hint of color. Overall fantastic for the price.

The Baby Lips color is gorgeous and provides a little more coverage than a lip gloss. It does wear off after only about 20 minutes and there was a disappointingly small amount of lipstick in the tube, but the product is not sticky at all and has an amazing color so I will probably order again when I finish this tube.

I really like this product. I wish it were just a little thicker. It seems very thin and there's not a lot of product. All in all, it wears very well. I love the feel of it on my lips. It's very smooth. It lasts a pretty long time. It doesn't have a strong annoying scent.
I liked it a lot. I think I'll get more in a few other colors too.
This is the best lip color I've tried in a long time. It's light and moisturizing, so it doesn't feel like there's anything on your lips at all. Also, the Bark color is probably the nicest neutral shade I've ever worn. I'll buy this in Bark as long as ELF continues to sell it. Thumbs up!

I ordered the "ruby slipper" not expecting much, to be honest, as I'm not a big lipstick wearer. This is an amazing colour - a bit lighter on your lips than in the container, but gorgeous nonetheless. I've tried it by itself and over the toasted all over colour stick and am completely satisfied with both turnouts!
The applicator is indeed very comfortable to use and controul (I had my doubts at first!!) there is no taste and the tingly minty feeling is very refreshing for a lipstick. Plus, its so light on your lips, it actually feels like you're wearing a layer of silk. I'm thoroughly enjoying playing around with this new addition to my cosmetic case :-)

I loved this product. I had something simmilar to it before from Stila and I like this product so much more! The color is great and so it the flavor(I was nervous about "Vanilla mint" but it's suprisingly refreshing!) As someone who doesn't like how dramatic lipstick looks or how quickly lip gloss wears off, this is the perfect medium! I want another one!!!
I ordered all of the elf lip glosses and this one is my favorite. The taste and smell is better than most and I like the colors. The only downfall is there is no subtle applying in a meeting or anything because the clicking is loud but that is probably a good thing
this works for me. I'm brown skinned and maple sugar is the perfect muted color for my skin tone. I love the gloss and it lasts for over 5 hrs. Does not chap my lips after it comes off. It's sexy.

This lipstick is great! I got it in Baby Lips and it's just a shade darker than my natural lips. Since I like a natural look, it's absolutely perfect. I prefer to apply this with the Lip Defining Brush but the applicator on the container is easy to use also. It's got a bit of a shine that looks nice on its own and looks really great with a little lip gloss on top.
I finally found the lip color I have been searching for 20+ years!!
I am so so glad! Brownie Points makes my day every time I put it on my lips.
I only wish the shipment had been a little quicker...:)

This product feels so good on your lips, leaves them silky soft with great shine. This is my favorite product by far.
Just a bit sheerer than I expected but still love it!
Get one of these in every color to put in your purse, leave at the office, at home, etc. A GREAT DEAL for the price and COMPARABLE to other liquid lipcolors. I am mixed Spanish/Filipina and got the colors Ruby Slipper and Cherry Tart and they have a very pretty color. I tried the Pink Lemondae but the color was neutral and only gave me gold gloss with no color.
OMG i LOVED this product! i got carmel candy and when i got it, it looked like a weird brown color. but when i put it on, it was a BEAUTIFUL natural light carmel color. it goes on great with the spongy tip and stays glossy for a long time. its my new favorite lip product!!!

This is the best product ever. It goes on super smooth if you use the lip brush with it. It makes my lips sooooo Juciy especially if i top it with my wet slicks fruit spritzers in Strawberry Splash by Covergirl. I bought Cherry Tart. Im probably going to buy all of them next.

i looove these! i have 4 and as soon as i can, i'm ordering 2 more of every color (once the shpping gets faster)! seriously, these are a bargain and they're pigmented and do NOT taste waxy or gross. i gave one to my mom, which is the cherry tart, and she loves it as well. they're pretty easy to use and they're cute, reminds me of the stila glosses but for way cheaper.
I like this lip gloss because its light enough to wear all the time and classic enough to wear with lip liner and go out. The only problem I have with ALL of the e.l.f. lip products is that none of them are true to color. They are all a significantly lighter color than what's shown on the screen. I understand that transluscence is probably what they are going for, but when I see a color I like, that's what I want.

I've got this in Cherry Tart, and the color on the website doesn't match my dark canister of gloss, but the gloss color itself doesn't even match what's on my lips!
Anyway, I do really like this product because the color is actually nice and it's easy to apply. It turned out to be a brighter pink than what's on my monitor, which shows a nude/dark pink.
It will come off in like 20 minutes so keep it handy with you...but it's convenient and easy to apply, I don't even need a mirror!

I have every single color in this collection, but Baby Lips and Cherry Tart are my favorites. For the price you can't go wrong here-it goes on great and gives your lips a really nice shine. My only complaint is that it wears off pretty quickly. For the price though, you can afford to leave them all over so you're covered! Also, the colors are very sheer-which I love, but I think the term 'lipstick' might give buyers the wrong idea.
I LOVE this lipstick! True enough, it wears off because it is so glossy, but the sheer color is wonderful, and I feel really sexy when I wear it. It makes my lips feel soft and light instead of weighed down like most lipsticks do. I would say that it is a perfect cross between lip gloss and lipstick.

I really love this lipstick. It's a little more coverage than a lip gloss but not too much color/cakey/looks artificial like a lot of lipsticks. I often buy lipstick and then try it at home and don't like it because it looks so artificial to me. This lipstick goes on smooth, conditions my lips, and gives me a very natural, glossy shine. It's really sexy in a very "I'm healthy and glowing" way. This is the first lipstick that I'm happy to wear every day!
LOVE,LOVE,LOVE this product. But why did you get rid of half of the colors? Mauve Luxe and Maple Sugar are my faves, they go very well with my light olive complextion. Plus, I always got compliments when I wore Mauve luxe. Darn, ELF. Now I'll be dateless all summer ;)
it a really good lip gloss I got mine is pink lemonaid. I just wish that the store I went to had as much veriety here on line.
I have the Maple Sugar which is darker then the color shown on the site. I don't know if what it is, taste or smell or combination of both, but I don't care for it. That sensation doesn't last long, and I still use it. For [$], its pretty good.
i thought i could get rid of the weird smell of the lipstick, but when i applied it, it smells really weird to me(a mix of plastic n vanilla). i bought "Bark", but the color doesnt stand out when i applied it, and not very shiny also. i will never buy this again!
The lipstick didn't feel good on my lips. It had a burning feeling, and a cheap texture. Even for a buck, not worth it.

I have fair skin with blue undertones. I am always looking for the perfect "pinky brown" color. The porblem is, most neutrals look too "orangy". I purchased Brownie Points and it is PERFECT - not too pink but not rust brown. Its a nice neutral pink for everyday wear!

I bought this because I wanted a lip color that was somewhat similar to my own lip color, but just a little more enhanced. This is it! I have very fair skin, so I was a little worried about buying the color 'Brownie Points'. But, it is perfect! A little bronzy, little pinky, little shimmery... perfect! Now you do have to 'click' the tube probably like 50 times or so before the initial application (so you don't actually get as much as you think you are), but for a buck, heck, I will just order a couple more and be set! I can't wait until Baby Lips is in stock so I can try that color as well!
I got ruby slippers and ran back to get the rest of the colors. Yummy smell and taste, nice slippy feel, pretty, somewhat sheer color. I'm not a fan of these applicators, though, because they waste a lot of product.

It ended up being more packaging than lip color, by the time you twist the color through the applicator. I like the product, though, for a sheer, moist lip color.

The colors and packaging are great. I love the applicator pad.
This must have been reformulated in the past year or so. Because I bought it a few years ago and it tingled on my lips a little and the new ones actually made my lips burn and sting. I don't have overly sensitive lips, nor were they badly chapped.
This doesn't sting as badly as the plumping lip gloss, that one BURNS and HURTS and makes you rush to get it off.
This would be a GREAT product if they would remove the menthol or whatever it is that stings. Please, ELF, stop putting in that irritating, stinging ingredient! You could have such a great product here if it didn't hurt.
the bottle is a completely different shade than expected but i still loved the pink lemonade. I thought it would clash with my dark skin but it looked completely natural!reapplying is a pain but i'll live!
This is one of my favorite elf products. It feels like chap stick on your lips. And the colors are great. They are subtle, and perfect for every day use. I would defiantly reccomend this to a friend.
This stuff is great! I just bought 10 more! The only con is that it does come off quickly, but then it's so inexpensive you can easily buy more.

I love this product! It is great for everyday. It's not sticky. My lips don't feel dry in this. My only two complaints is that 1) it wears off fast & 2)my favorite color (natural blush) is no longer made!
Got it in Cherry Tart and love it! Just enough sexy red with plenty of moisture! Lasted just a bit longer than others I've tried, but it might have just been the darker color. Really great!

This lipstick/gloss does not last more than 1/2 hour- it's not longlasting by any means. Also, by the time you twist up the lipstick for the first time to get it to the applicator- there's not much left. The other makeup I bought from ELF is also cheap- I don't know where the good reviews come from- they must've written them themselves. I wouldn't buy from them again. Poor quality- but I guess what do you expect for [$]don't plan to look professional.
I adore this lipstick. I have thicker lips that tend to be dry and look a little creased. This product gives me a slick finish and my lips look instantly fuller. Unfortunately, it comes off VERY quickly and I have to constantly reapply. The color of the on my lips is very flattering and natural, but looks NOTHING like the dark color in the tube. (I received Maple Sugar in a box of assorted makeup. The tube looks brown, but it is a darker fleshy pink on me.)
its the best ever and i use it everyday. i love it.

I love this lipgloss. I can't wait to get my others that I've purchased. I love how it makes my lips soft within seconds of application. I love the shine and the scent. The only bad thing is it doesn't stay on after drinking or eating, but I still love it.
