This is a really nice nail polish. I got the bubblegum pink, it's really nice and cheap, but it really stinks. I had to go outside to get some fresh air. I loved the color though.

I really liked this nail polish. The first time I used it, i was in a hurry getting ready to go out, and i was really surprised how fast one coat dried! i usually make a mess! the next time I took my time, and used a good base coat, two coats of color, and a top coat and it has lasted a long time. with a base and top coat it chips fast. overall easy to use, and pretty colors.

Got the buff & light pink because I'm busy with 2 small kids, so I figured that if it chips it won't be noticeable. I put 1 coat on my fingernails Sunday morning for a sheer quick touch. I noticed my first "ding" today-which is pretty good because I was at the beach 3 times this week. Nice shine & even coverage.
Ordered some dark shades for my toes, now that I know how well this stays!
Colors (plum & black) looked good but chipped SO easily. Price is right, so OK for basic use but I probably wouldn't buy it again

I bought two colors. I used one on my toenails which went on smoothly dried quickly and looked great for over two weeks. I used the other color on my fingers and within a couple of days it was chipping and peeling. I am ususally pretty good with manicures and they usually last at least one week. I was not impressed with the pigmentation either, needed a richer color for my liking. But for the price it was good!
I got this in Black and I love it! It went on so smoothly, evenly and doesnt look streaky at all! It also dried surprisingly quickly and has a nice glossy but not TOO shiny finish!
it's not worth a penny over a dollar.very thin and seems like a kids nail polish.you'd be beter off buying an [$] bottle of O.P.I.

I purchaed three of these polishes and will review each with you. First though, I received the bottles without the cute little drippy part on them :o( - mine were just plain bottles. Also, every single one of them closes incorrectly after the first time opening them, meaning the cap does not close in alignment with the bottle so it looks very crappy!
BLACK: I found the black to have very good coverage after two coats, and it dried very quickly and nicely. Good for travel if you're in a hurry to put some color on fast! Good classic black color, comparable to your average polish. May want to add a glossy topcoat to give it more shine.
FLUORESCENT PINK: A little less pink than I expected, has a slight orangey tint to it, but as with the black, gives great coverage in two coats, smooth application and quick drying time! Again, you may need a glossy top coat for shine.
DARK RED: This is a pretty blackberry-red color. Not as dark as I had hoped, more of a cool red once applied. I was looking for a black-red type like Vamp but this was still pretty, just not nearly as dark as pictured. Again, a glossy top coat would give the needed shine!
I like these enough that I'd like to purchase every single color! Good product for the money, definitely worth it and fun to play with :o) I do wish they had more of a variety in color though.
Dries nice, stays on for a long time.. highly recommended! My favorites are Gum Pink and Champagne :)

I got this polish in Black and I LOVE it! I don't usually paint my nails (hands) and black was a little dramatic but it was really fun and didn't take too many coats to really get it on there - i think it was 2! my only issue with it is that it chips really easily, I had reapply everyday to keep it on.
I bought this in plum and its a really pretty deep color! It went on smoothly and dried really fast, and the color is gorgeous.
I love these nail polishes! THey work just as great as any professional brand and they are much more cost efficient.

No stores near me carry elf products, so when i saw them in a grocery store when i was on vacation, i was very excited! i got this nail polish in Fluorescent Pink and the color is really nice, though it is a little darker than it looks online. it was easy to apply, and went on great! (but note to self- never try to apply any nail polish outside when it is windy because the wind dries the polish on the brush before you have a chance to apply it to nails. that was one problem i had at first). overall- it's great nail polish for the price!

Even with keeping in mind that darker colors take longer to dry than lighter ones, I still found that even after meticulous care that my nails would get "dented" hours after I had painted them. Hard to remove.
But you can't beat the price and my girls love to get their nails done. Go with a lighter shade (as I plan to do next time) and I am sure they will do better.
I was so dissapointed by this. The bottle and colors were really fun but it chipped off within a few hours! A lot of people said "You get what you pay for" but I expected a lot more...
I don't usually use nail polish. The nail polish has really smooth finish and drys fast. But it has strong odor just like the regular nail polish you can buy in the stores. I was hoping that this is odorless because it's free of Toluene, Formaldehyde, and Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP). I like the Champagne color. It looks natural. If there are more color selections, I will try again. It took a long time to ship. I hope this has improved.
I had never heard of E.L.F. brand products before, but I bought some Avon products off of [...] and the seller included a bottle of Pearl Pink E.L.F. Nail Polish as a bonus. I just tried it and I love it! The packaging is very neat, that doesn't make any nail polish better than the other, but it is cool to look at. I do believe that this nail polish is superior to others I have tried before. The nail polish dries super fast, and I love the formula and there is hardly any odor. The best part is the super wide brush which makes application a breeze--2 or 3 quick swipes of the nail and you're done. It was completely streak-free because of the ample brush (and I don't have the steadiest hands either), which is especially important when you have sheer colors. I will definitely buy more of this nail polish, and maybe I'll try other E.L.F. products in the future as well. I'm impressed!

I love this nail polish! My favorite shade is "Bubble Gum Pink." I'm not sure if it's in my head or not, but I swear I smell a faint scent of bubble gum. I also like "pearl pink," which is classier. I'm in my teens, so the brightness of the bubble gum shade doesn't look..."weird." I absolutely think this is worth the money. I expected a little sample-size of nail polish, but it's the same size as the expensive brands! I highly reccomend this product.

I used the Fluorescent Pink on my toes and the color is really cute, but the application was awful! It was really watery and I couldn't get a good, even coat. I eventually had to do 2 coats, but it still looked blotchy and weird. I don't know about the other colors, but I'd definitely stay away from the Fluorescent Pink!
I got the bubble gum pink and berry pink polishes. It does streak quite badly :( I needed a few coats to get it right. It's really very watered down, well I guess you get what you paid for in the end...
I washed dishes (love hot water), do many crafts at work with kids, and have a difficult time keeping polish from chipping, but this withstood it all!! I took off the polish after 9 days, after slight chipping at the very tips of my nails.
I was skeptical about nailpolish that costs [$]. However, once I put this on, I realized how easily the brush applied the polish and how quickly it dried! I've spent much more on nailpolish and have been disappointed. I came back to order more.

I was really excited when i saw these on e.l.f. so i went ahead and bought some. The first one i tried was the light red which may have been a mistake because the application can be sort of sticky and clumpy and nails that i messed up on looked like they were bloody and stuff. After a few more tries at this stuff it became kinda easier to apply so i guess that you get what you paid for!
I wore the same nail polish for 10 days without a single chip! Although I was impressed by that I was unimpressed by the color of a few choices I bought

I bought the neutral set a few days ago. So far I have only used the coral, and it is absolutely beautiful. I can honestly say that it is one of the best colors I have ever used. I love it for summer, because it brings out a tan. I highly recommend this color, and I have nothing but good things to say about it.

as far as nail polish goes its pretty good stuff. it dryes much quicker than the normal stuff I use. The colors are pretty, but not the same as shown on the web site. I found that coral and pearl are much brighter and irredecent. None the less its a great product and I would love to see more colors

With other nail polishes, it starts chipping in 2 days. With ELF it was week and it had not chipped yet. I love it.
I really like this polish. I ordered the black and even though it needed 2 coats (3 for really dramatic) it was really satisfying. I really couldn't be happier with this. I can't wait to buy more colors the next time I order. The price is awesome too! I don't know why everyone is saying that the smell is really strong. It smells normal to me. It dries fast as well. The only thing is is that there aren't nearly as many colors that i wish there was. I'm into the funky colors like bright green, aqua blue, and neon pink/orange. I would really appreciate it if they came out with different colors. I'm sure that other people would too!

The quality of the polish seems good - I haven't had problems with chipping etc. The gum pink is a bit difficult for me to pull off (brighter than expected). Other than that, it's great!

My 3 year old daughter and I love doing our nails together, and this makes it so much easier. It only take one coat to get a beautiful bold colour, even for the lighter colours. It drys very quick which is great, it goes on perfectly! I love it, and to know it doesnt have crazy chemicals makes it all the better when putting it on my little girl!
I purchased 6 colors and realized that I had high expectations for a product that only cost a dollar. It's very difficult to put on because the colors streak and the brushes are so poorly made (bristles kept messing me up). Also, if you put on more than 2-3 coats to cover up the streaks, you will definitely form air bubbles and it'll look like you're wearing press-on nails. (The colors that I had trouble with were mostly the pinks). For one dollar, these polishes are worth it if you only wear them on your toes! Otherwise, I'd refrain from attempting to give yourself a mani because you'll end up spending half the bottle to paint your nails, and end up wasting more money buying nail polish remover and cotton pads.
P.S. the colors do not match exactly as pictured but the gum pink, coral, and florescent pink are kinda hard to pull off ...
The colors are great and you cannot beat the price. I have it in nude, dark red, and black. The nude went on fairly easily but took 3 coats to get opaque enough for my liking. The black and the red are a little bit more streaky because they are darker and the unevenly cut brush does not help. It helps to have buffed nails with no ridges that way the color goes on smoother. I would definitely buy a high-end top coat and base coat. If you have trouble getting an even streak-free finish I recommend pouring the polish into an old CLEAN (run remover through it) O.P.I. bottle to take advantage of O.P.I.'s great brushes.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this nailpolish. I bought the 3-in-1 manicure set (nude, white and clear polish) and I painted my nails 2 days before leaving for the beach. After 8 days of pool chlorine, salt water, and normal everyday use, it STILL looked great!
I am totally in love with the nude polish.It lasts a long time and has that "barely there" look. I will be buying more, possibly all, the colors. You just can't beat it!
We really like your nail polish so far but there isn't a lot of colors to choose from we think that if you had more of a selection with your resonable prices and advertized more you would do GREAT!

This bottle is a great size for travel and an economical way to try new colors. I loved Plum (very dark purple) You do need two coats and it chips a little too quickly so don't forget the top coat.
I received compliments from others about the "fun" colors I had for my pedicures. I had to touch up the darker colors after application, which was a bit tough to remove. This also requires two coats so it doesn't look streaky, but so does any good pedicure.

I purchased Clear and Black. I truly wanted Medium Red, but it was not unavailable and removed from my order. I have used the clear alone and as a bottom/top coat and love the versatility. The black did require two coats to achieve that vinyl, reflective appearance, which most black polishes usually do not, but no big deal. The bottle looks really cool, which is kind of unimportant, but you would not think from the way the product presents that is was so inexpensive. Overall, a great value for a must have product!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this nail polish. I usually use OPI, and I only do color on my toes and clear on my fingers because I have very busy hands and nail polish normally chips and wears off so quickly. I bought Nude nail polish and decided to give it a try on my fingers as it is so neutral that any chips would likely be unnoticable. I have been wearing it for three days now with no visible chips. I have two coats of nail polish on and no clear protective top coat even. Can't wait to try out other colors!
I purchased the clear polish and it was a piece of junk. It wasn't the consistency that nail polish is supposed to be. It was watered down and really loose and was a waste of money.

Great colors, including the hard to find pink and coral. Goes on a little streaky and I had to use 3 coats to get even color but it was really really pretty!

I used a dark color and left it on for a week or so. When I went to take it off, my nails were stained this awful dark color. I had used a bottom coat but it still managed to stain. I woul use it for a day or so but I wont' leave it on for a longer period of time.
I am a nail polish junky, yet I feel that on doesn?t need to have 10 bottles of the same nail polish. With that being said I think that if one buys a nail polish worth [$]it will pay for itself in time. The nail polishes streak and their consistency varied with color. The Berry pink: very shear pink with glitter; the White streaks; the Dark red: is a very nice shade except that it streaks and it took me 3-4 coats to get it right. Everyone knows that if you apply too many coats of nail polish it will chip.
I use this product everyday. All the colors are fab. Sadly at times you have to add to many coats to get a dramatic look. On another side its great if you like that classy simple look. Still its a great product, with a great price.
The nail polish color i am using right now is the dark read && it look lighter in the picture just cause of the flash. But it is dark & great for the night or the great 4th of July.

I love this polish. It's the one I reach for nearly every time. Goes on evenly, dries quickly, lasts for days.
I bought the Gum Pink and I applied it without base coat or top coat. It stayed on for about 1 week. Then it started to peel. The second time I used it i used Top coat and base coat and I also put nail art on both of my thumbs. It stayed on for about a day or less. Then it started to peel real easily. I thought the color was really cute and I loved it, the only problem is the peeling.I would still recommend it because it works.

i like how smoothly it goes on. i just think it dries too slow for me. i also think it needs more colors (i'd like it to get off the reds/pinks and maybe have blues/greens and other wild colors)
I work a lot with my hands, and this polish stays on longer than any I've tried. I'm on day 3 and have only two very small chips on the ends. I had to do three coats because it's not very heavy, but with that and a topcoat it looks great. I've used the dark red, and it comes off super easy and doesn't stain my nails like other polishes.
Very please overall, and will stick with this for awhile.

I have this polish in a few different colors and it's an average product. It goes on easily and dries pretty quickly but it can be hard to remove. It also chips pretty easily. It's no worse than any other polish I've had, though, and costs a lot less so I'll continue to use it. At e.l.f.'s prices I can afford to paint my nails more often.
My style is classic and somewhat conservative. I'm currently addicted to the nude shade of nailpolish. It goes on super smooth, dries quickly and gives my nails the perfect glossy sheen I've always looked for. Great product, would definitely recommend E.L.F. nailpolish to others!

I ordered 6 polishes and was disappointed that the one I wanted the most wasn't in my order. Apparently it was not in stock, although this wasn't noted online at the time I ordered it.
This polish comes in a perfectly size, somewhat petite sized bottle. It goes on smoothly, and dries quickly. The smell is very strong.

A couple polishes were missing from my order so I can't comment on those but the ones I did receive were ok. They are very sheer and took 3 coats for color to show up and be opaque.
I do like the fact that it is more "natural" than other brands, has less of that polish smell and dries fairly quickly while still being shiny (most quick dries dry rather matte/flat).

I was utterly surprised with this nail polish. I've only tried the champagne color. First coat dried quickly, second coat not quite as fast, but still fast for a second coat. Two days of many hand washes, cooking, cleaning, and I honestly do not have any chips or dings. This is the first time ever in a nail polish for me. I was going to try the Nude color first, but it looks really liquidly, so I chickened out, but I'm sure it will look great.

I'm very fair with pink undertones, so I have to wear blue-reds, not ones that have orange undertones. It's really hard to find the right ones! The medium red polish is a perfect true blue-red. I'm not buying anything else again and may start taking it with me when I get my nails done!

I am NOT really into nail polish but for this price I thought I would give it a try. I bought 6 color and two of them were a total disapointment. Coral and Pearl made my nails look like a granny! The rest were better than the expensive ones I'd bought in the past. I just recommend these two colors to anyone for the lack of shine... pretty matte!

I'm amazed at the staying power of this [$] nail polish. I cannot stand chipped nail polish and I have paid wayy too much money trying to find the best polish that will stay on longer than 48 hours. This glides on smoothly. It dries quickly. I use a base and top coat and it stays amazingly well. The colored polish that is in the same line as my base and top coat is chipped in about 24 hours ... and for $17/bottle??? I use the base and top coat with this polish and I'm amazed at how well it stays!! Love it! Will get more for sure!

The first day I used this nail polish, in the champagne color, I thought how wonderful it was. But, after about 2 days it was pealing off and bothering me. I even had a clear coat on it. I don't know if it is just the constant work I'm doing with my hands that did it along with the not-so-great quality or what, but the color is very nice.

I love this nail polish. My favourite is Burgundy, which is a lovely deep purplish-red, very pretty without being "vampy". It covers in one coat for a lighter colour or two coats for a deeper red. The Black needs 3 coats to cover as it's so dark, but Light Pink (for example) only needs 1 coat for a pretty pink shimmer.
The polish chips a bit but no more than expensive ones. Using a clear polish on top stops chipping altogether.
All in all, better than polishes ten times the price. They come in lots of pretty colours and you can afford to have a polish for every occasion!
Oh, and you can remove that stupid plastic "drip" decoration. Just take the lid off, work the plastic bit loose and slide it off the bottle.

I bought five of the nail polish colors and love every single one of them!! I have told everyone I can about the great makeup available for a more than reasonable price!!
i like the stuff but the odor is very strong and i think more colors would be great like some bright blue green yellow purple orange and even silver or gold

Some of these polishes go on smooth and have great staying power like Gum Pink. Others look great the first day and then quickly dull and chip. I adore these polishes though even though some chip quickly...for the price you just can't beat these and it's worth having to repaint your nails frequently to save money on the more expensive brands. Besides...there are so many great colors to choose from e.l.f. that you'll probably want to change the color each day anyways!

I bought just about every color of this because I am a nail addict and I figured the inital investment to buy all of the colors was what I would spend on just one bottle of OPI (had a coupon--so even better).
Now despite having two kids under the age of three, the one thing that I treat myself to is getting a manicure every weekend. Needless to say during the week I am pretty hard on my nails and I do a lot of typing.
After going through the reviews I have not had any more problems with chipping then I do with any other brands including OPI, Piggy Polish, Elle or any others.
Before being harsh on the reviews of this product, make sure to remember that you would never go into a salon for a maincure and get one coat of polish nor would the manicure be finished before getting a top coat applied. Yes this will allow for extra drying time but these are what makes your nails look their best and you can't expect a product to work its best if it is not applied properly.
And note: even the best brands of top coats say to apply every 2-3 days to help protect color. Following that little step is what helps best against any polish chipping.
